There are often questions regarding the rules and especially the hands in the new cards issued each year. This page is an effort to address those questions in a concise fashion, so that you do not have to contact the League personally. Questions Regarding the 2010 Card--From the NMJL

This hand must be played as 2 Pair -
2 Pungs and 1 Kong. There should be
a space between the number and the
Dragon. You may only call in 3 of a
kind and 4 of a kind.

Quint Group

Response

NNNNN/DDDD/11111

This hand is played with a Quint of
ANY Wind, a Kong of ANY Dragon and a
Quint of ANY number in ANY Suit.
